Returning to the Mothership

I visited Agape Sunday with two Los Angeles friends.

I have long referred to Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles as my spiritual mothership. For the past thirty six years I have visited the Center at least twice a year and some years five or six times. I took one year off of my routine and moved to Los Angeles in order to attend the mothership and see its internal workings. What is the draw? The Center is comprised of leaders and leaders in the making who are in the world doing the spiritual work, then gather together on Sundays to celebrate the Divine Presence AS us and to recognize others who are doing the same.

Sunday’s visit inspired me and my Spirit was thirsty slurping up the words of Truth and receiving the High Vibration that reminds me I am NOT of this world, yet my time here is a good thing, and a consequential experience. I grabbed my phone throughout service to capture some affirmative gems to share:

“I am beginning to get in tune with my mission.”

“I am beginning to get in tune with my health.”

“I am beginning to get in tune with my success.”

“I let go of the addiction to morbid thoughts of my future.”

“I am in God and God is in me.”

Sunday’s talk was on rewriting your story from fear to faith. We were reminded that fear, doubt, anxiety, and worry all derive from previous versions of ourselves that don’t know who we are in the moment. WE are the authors and educators of our old stories equipped to update them to our NOW self and FUTURE self. When we experience the sensations in our body that we label with these words we were reminded to say “evidence of expansion” or “evidence of expanding our capacity.”

Repetition is a powerful thing. Life is Good. A question worth pondering: How do I rise my vibration up when it’s already up?
