The Power of Blessing

BLESS IT BEFORE THE EVIDENCE

This morning in meditation I blessed my day before entering into it fully. I have been reading the book Your Wish is Your Command by Kevin Trudeau who reminds me that my primary job each day is to feel good or feel better. Blessing is a big part of this.

When I teach people to call their experience Good, I don’t mean they will necessarily like or choose the experience in front of them, but that really isn’t the point. The invitation is to call forth your spiritual power.

To anoint It.
To bless It.
To herald It.

Although tempting, do not reduce this teaching to positive thinking, reframing, gratitude, or having an optimistic mindset. When I speak of blessing something, I mean a spiritual act of moving energy from your heart (which is unlimited and can’t be diminished) to the situation at hand. I believe that by blessing an experience we confer prosperity upon it (the meaning of blessing) and the Energy changes.

For the past five weeks my home has been on the market to rent month-by-month. My home is beautiful, filled with intentional Love, and very welcoming. I refer to it as the Magic House; where dreams come true. When you walk into the house there is a commissioned poem on the wall that speaks to the magic within it. It is definitely a blessed space. And, I was getting up to 20 inquiries a day and they weren’t panning out. I did the deepest surrender turning the house over to God for the right tenant. My personality wanted a one year renter, not pets, single person who LOVED the space. The form of what I wanted wasn’t what came through when I surrendered, and yet I could feel the perfection within it. The right person to love my home and to allow it to love her during this timeframe moved it.

I do not need to understand why something happens before I bless it. Understanding is a function of the mind and blessing is an activity of Spirit. It truly is a super power.

Bless it before the evidence appears. Bless it again when it takes form.

A reminder to myself and to each of us: I do not need to know why something is Good in order to call it Good.
