Prayer for New Work

Dear Friends,

Many of my friends and clients are currently undergoing job searches. Last night I was woken up at 12:20 am with the internal knowing I was to write an Affirmative Prayer for all the job seekers out there wanting prayer support.

I recommend printing out this prayer and praying it in the morning and at night before bed. I suggest keeping a job search journal along side this prayer where I would capture who I met throughout the day and in my evening prayers I would give thanks for each one and pray for their well being and the well being of their families. I would practice being a blessing everywhere I went. I would also write in my journal the insights I had about myself and allow myself to be inspired by them. I would let this job search change me for the better.

Below is a job search prayer. It is written in the Affirmative Prayer style. If this style interests you, you can learn more about it by reading my book Affirmative Prayer, clicking on this link to order.

Affirmative Prayer for Work

I sit in the recognition that God is All there is. I repeat this to myself several times and allow it to sink in. GOD is all there Is. God IS all there Is. God is ALL there is. God is all THERE Is. God is all there IS. That’s it: God. One Presence. One Power. One Life Force … God. I can call It Love; It is still God. I can call It Unfettered Joy. It is God. I can call It the Desire and the Desire fulfilled … still God. So I sit right now knowing that God is ALL there is.

From this feeling tone of the All, I open to the Truth that I, then, must be part of the Allness of God. I must be. Not God and me; but God as me. The Life force of God pulses through my body right now as me. I am made in Its image and likeness. God as me.

Therefore, as I seek what I call right work, I know that it is seeking me. For the magnetic energy of God’s Good is pulling Itself to Itself. The job I seek is God in form and It seeks me. I get out of the way of this transaction by letting go of thoughts that aren’t True and do not honor God. I let go of the thought I am too old or in competition with another. Not true. There is no age in God and competition doesn’t exist in the realm of right work. I must have that which is mine and can’t have that which isn’t. I let go of the thought that I am not skilled enough. There is more skill in my right pinky finger than I give myself credit for. I have lived my life as me and I continue to do so IN the Faith and FROM the Faith that God is working through me on my behalf. I let go of the false belief that I don’t have enough, I am not enough, there is not enough. Lack does not exist in the Kingdom of Good. There is enough within me and all around me. I honor this now. I open to seeing what I haven’t seen before. I open to receiving what I haven’t been willing to give myself. I shepherd myself outside of my comfort zone into the realm of New; the realm of my New Good. I follow the leads that come my way. I actively seek leads out trying them on as I go. I allow myself to approach this thing called job search from a place of play. I celebrate each person I meet. I am grateful for my ever-growing community of potential friends and colleagues. I wake up and go to sleep each night with a grateful heart. God is Good, I know this. God is Good, and I am willing to be the place of testimony to share this news in my way with the world and most importantly; with my Soul. I let go of small NOW. I step into my Good NOW. I celebrate life NOW.

I am grateful for all that I am, all that I have, and for that which I am becoming. I am grateful for my new job.

I release this prayer into the Law of God’s Good and let it go.

And So It Is, Amen.

I will pray this prayer along side of you.

Blessings,

bonnie
