God Wants me to Party

Dear Friends,

My sweetheart and I have plane tickets to go to Bali. Yesterday we learned the island is being evacuated because of volcanic seismic activity. We’re thinking about changing our plans. On the news this morning the focus is Puerto Rico with the residents without water, electricity, and food. The newspaper still covers the last two hurricanes which reeked havoc in our country. As I sit here today feeling concerned over our president’s mental health and what looks like lack of

stability; I get quiet and pray. I ask my Self what I can do in the world and for the world. Then I am reminded …

  1. Everything is God! Everything is Go(o)d. Another name for God is Good; or That Which is Good.I inhale and exhaled this realization. Everywhere I go God is. Everyone I see is a manifest form of God (whether they have awoken to this or not).
  2. The disturbance is in my mind reflected upon the world. It is my insides that are being called to Align with The Divine and to listen.
  3. I find myself with my eyes closed seeing people, places and things float in front of my third eye that I sit with until I know their/The Wholeness (including the president). I give thanks. After 90 plus minutes of this …
  4. An idea wells up inside of me. I am to throw a party with those I love to BE IN THE UNITY I know and feel. Together we will allow Spirit to guide us as community and to anchor in the knowing God Is, We Are and come from a place of Blessing, not trauma, drama, or judgment. Just this idea refreshes me.

What if, in these appearing turbulent times God calls us to party? To celebrate the Love in our lives, our neighbors we know and don’t know, and to live from our own Wholeness.

I have a game I play with my grand children. I call it “party for a day.” We turn everything ordinary into a party. For breakfast we “have a breakfast party,” then we swim and have a “swim party,” we pull out the stuff and have a “crafts party.” Lunch is a party, afternoon dancing is party. Dinner is one too and at the end of the day we count up and talk about all of the mini-parties we’ve had throughout the day.

My Soul is calling me to see the Wholeness that is; celebrate with those I love, and have a bit of fun. As I am guided to take political action, I will. I am here of service and my Boss knows what Its doing.

Love to Each of You,

Reverend Bonnie is planning a virtual book club (through Zoom) to start in January. Any suggestions? Let her know.
