Endings … Sweet Endings

Today, the first Momentum and Miracles group ended. We met for the month of July with each of us focused on “One Thing” to accomplish or move forward. As this particular group is coming to an end, it got me thinking about endings. As Infinite, multi-dimensional Beings, one of our primary forms of currency is energy. It is the Quantum realization that we are more formless than form and all of Life is a spectrum of light to dense energy. We are always circulating energy, and as Einstein said, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” And how does this change or circulation happen? Through our attention and intention. Many clients I have worked with over the years have a hard time with endings. They desire to keep things the way that they are and hold tight to what feels, or felt good. My observation is that this is related to an abandonment wound of some sort, and acknowledging...

God Wants me to Party

My sweetheart and I have plane tickets to go to Bali. Yesterday we learned the island is being evacuated because of volcanic seismic activity. We’re thinking about changing our plans. On the news this morning the focus is Puerto Rico with the residents without water, electricity, and food. The newspaper still covers the last two hurricanes which reeked havoc in our country. As I sit here today feeling concerned over our president’s mental health and what looks like lack of stability; I get quiet and pray. I ask my Self what I can do in the world and for the world. Then I am reminded … Everything is God! Everything is Go(o)d. Another name for God is Good; or That Which is Good.I inhale and exhaled this realization. Everywhere I go God is. Everyone I see is a manifest form of God (whether they have awoken to this or not). The disturbance is in my mind reflected upon the world. It is my insides that are being called to...

What Really Follows the Storm?

The beauty of being awake and aware to an inner life is to be present to what is alive within at THIS VERY MOMENT. This is good news. This is also not-so-good news. Not so good in that I am aware of when I am chartering unknown territories and I am in the activity of an inner storm. Good news in that the more I ride out and open to storms; the more confident I am in The Eternal Presence of Divine Love to accompany me through them. Such was the case for me these last two weeks of March. I experienced tremendous inner energy shifts resulting in a few sleepless nights; some allergy issues; and, a case or two of Infinite Doubt, to borrow the phrase used by the multiple authors of How Enlightenment Changes Your Brain. I am now a week on dry land and, as always, grateful to have experienced this inner disruption followed by re-calibration. As I sit in reflection, I pause to recognize all of the Support I received through this process:...

What is Your Theme for 2016?

Each year, around October, I start receiving clues about my theme for the upcoming year. I notice what is grabbing my intention and pulling at my desire strings. I start feeling a yearning to become more of myself in some area of my life. I am moved into curiosity. I invite into my dreams questions toward the forming of this theme. I am present to conversations, books, and shows where it seems like key words or phrases show up bold and underlined. I listen and watch for my body resonating with a concept. The feeling of this resonance is one of vitality mixed with giddiness. It can feel to me as though I’ve been thirsty and then I drank water. A kind of energetic satiation happens. And, bit-by-bit a theme begins to emerge. It begins as an idea and then starts to become full bodied; like a sponge in a capsule. With water added the capsule dissolves and I can have a more dimensional experience of the sponge. My theme for 2016 began to pop in November; I was asking...

Birthing a New Community and Movement

Two weekends ago I was in Aravaipa Canyon on retreat with a group of Potent Souls. We came together on Sacred Land to step into the energy of Honor and allow it to teach us. We began with honoring ourselves and introducing ourselves to each other from our Soul. We assigned Native American meanings to our names after sitting in an extensive, deep meditation. My name’s meaning is: She who brings Heaven to earth and brings forth a Mighty Vision. I’ve included a picture of my painting that demonstrates to me the feeling of this meaning. The retreat would continue with honoring our ancestors, the land, each other, and Creativity. I left with an internal prototype established for the opening of our new community, ImpulsUS, this past weekend. ImpulsUS is Latin for Impulse (intentionally capitalized) which to me represents the Original Impulse of Life that created the cosmos and evolved billions of years later to create you and I. ImpulsUS is a center that teaches what we are calling...

Dining with The Human Story

Last night Chef Linda demonstrated, with the assistance of dinner party guests, how to make simple, easy, vegan meals. My friend Michael invited me along and before showing up several serendipitous moments would occur. My home is being renovated so I’m staying with a friend. While on the couch, twenty four hours prior to this dinner, with laptops on each of our laps, she reads me a vegan recipe from an e-newsletter. I ask her to forward it to me and I begin reading about the vegan chef at which point I announce “I want to meet this woman.” She would be Linda Chef, our party’s instructor. I then opened a Meet Up announcement for a spiritual group in town and saw a Hindu monk who goes by the name ‘Swami.’  He too would be at this seven person dinner. Six of us sat around a wooden dinner table with Chef Linda and a small demo table in front of us. As she prepared a dish, one of us would join her and...
