Endings … Sweet Endings

Today, the first Momentum and Miracles group ended. We met for the month of July with each of us focused on “One Thing” to accomplish or move forward. As this particular group is coming to an end, it got me thinking about endings. As Infinite, multi-dimensional Beings, one of our primary forms of currency is energy. It is the Quantum realization that we are more formless than form and all of Life is a spectrum of light to dense energy. We are always circulating energy, and as Einstein said, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” And how does this change or circulation happen? Through our attention and intention. Many clients I have worked with over the years have a hard time with endings. They desire to keep things the way that they are and hold tight to what feels, or felt good. My observation is that this is related to an abandonment wound of some sort, and acknowledging...

Happy Easter Fool’s Day

“Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.” I Corinthians 3:18-19 I caught myself giggling in delight today being as though it is both Easter and April Fool’s Day. I emojied Happy Easter to my Christian and spiritual friends and sent April Fool’s Day emoji’s to my Jewish friends. Then, I looked at the Fool emoji and realize it had some characteristics of Jesus. I couldn’t resist pointing them out. The Fool emoji was of a jack-in-the-box. I noticed right away that the Fool was too big to be boxed in and had to rise. Jesus could also not contained and rose. Then I started seriously comparing what I know about the two symbolically. The Fool is recognized as a wanderer. He had a knapsack on his back...

Are You Seeking An Answer? Try This.

I pulled into Agape’s International Spiritual Center, I affectionately call The Mother Ship, to purchase a sweatshirt I have been wanting for some time. I opened the Prius door and walked myself through shutting down the car properly as it is different than my stick shift car. I walked toward the sanctuary door while my friend Annie O’Neil, who I hadn’t seen in over a year, walks out with two young film makers. The two of us fall into each others arms laughing. What are the odds of me walking into a spiritual center on a Thursday lunchtime at the same time she’d be walking out of the door? Really. Had there been one more stop light, I would have missed her. Had she recorded one more or less set of frames in her current documentary she was producing inside of the center, we would have missed each other. Get this. I know maybe 20 people in Los Angeles. That’s right. Out of just shy of ten million...

Half Way Through My Fast

On February 1st I announced on my blog that I would go on a February Fast cutting out political news from my daily diet and taking my own energy back. I would meditate from 5 to 6 pm instead of watching Chris Matthews and re-direct my energy toward that which I value. I want to share with you what I’ve observed. When a plane makes a very small, microscopic shift in direction it will end up in a different country. In fact, most of the time pilots are flying they are adjusting course. Flying is a series of mini-course corrections until the desired destination is reached. I should not have been surprised by the impact that this one small change could make in my life, but I was. By giving up political news, reading, and radio, I regained time. Probably 10 to 15 hours per week. The past three months I have had extensive leg, groin, and back pain. Metaphysically this means an inability to move, feeling unsupported, and...

God Wants me to Party

My sweetheart and I have plane tickets to go to Bali. Yesterday we learned the island is being evacuated because of volcanic seismic activity. We’re thinking about changing our plans. On the news this morning the focus is Puerto Rico with the residents without water, electricity, and food. The newspaper still covers the last two hurricanes which reeked havoc in our country. As I sit here today feeling concerned over our president’s mental health and what looks like lack of stability; I get quiet and pray. I ask my Self what I can do in the world and for the world. Then I am reminded … Everything is God! Everything is Go(o)d. Another name for God is Good; or That Which is Good.I inhale and exhaled this realization. Everywhere I go God is. Everyone I see is a manifest form of God (whether they have awoken to this or not). The disturbance is in my mind reflected upon the world. It is my insides that are being called to...

Unpacking, Releasing, and Rearranging

I am writing this blog post in the midst of boxes, furniture, art, and piles of good stuff that I love. Despite the house begging to be unpacked; I stopped to write this blog. I’ve written few blogs this past year. I miss sharing revelations and insights as they arrive and I have missed my correspondence with YOU. I choose to not wait one more moment, but instead follow the guidance I often provide my clients. Do the most important thing first. Writing is important to me; actually essential to my well-being. Unpacking can wait. So I sit down to write. How are you? How was your summer? What are you unpacking, releasing, and rearranging in your life? Tell me what is important to you. I want to hear from you. I want to know how God has revealed Itself to you in your life and when you’ve squealed in delight. I want to know about your heart breaks and your courage to allow your heart to be splayed open to more...
